Play with fire and at some point you will get burnt

Ok i've been burnt before but this is by far the worst, but its made alittle easier by the fact the whole experiance is on tape, hospital visits as well (thanks to the nurses who patched me up and let me film the whole thing). So what happened well before i test fired my NO WELD JET ENGINE for the first time i was mesing withe oil system which is just a finely balanced tube n funnel and an ice cream tube but tis was made easier if i loosened gas nut as could spin engine around more freely and well i forgot to tighten it up and after a few minutes of trying to start engine the worktop was covered with gas BOOM. Now there is gona be some questions i'd ask so i'll answer a few that i predict i'll get.
1-Why didn't you smell it.- These engines do smell a bit gassy on start up so i over looked that one and i'd only done 2 trial starts so had there been no gas leak that would be minimal gas.
2-Why didn't i have any fire proof gear on - Have started a number of jets and never got close to being fried and even after it healed and i got it going i only put a jumper on as the main problem remember is the leak not the other highly dangerous stuff hehe
3-What degree burns are they - No idea but there not 3rd degree and have healed up pretty well so just a bloody good tanning session really
4-Do i think i,m stupid - Well i try not to get burnt but if you don't try new things your just a dull boring loser with perfect skin.....booooooo
